There are however some final settings which should be setup to ensure your connection is secure, and to allow your Mac to connect at other eduroam sites. From the top right of your screen, click on the Network icon and select “Open Network Preferences”. In the “System Preferences - Network” window that displays make sure “AirPort” (in later versions of Mac OS X this is called “Wi-Fi”) is selected from the left hand pane, and click the “Advanced” button in the bottom right. Click on the “802.1X” tab, and select the “WPA: eduroam” user profile on the left. In the Authentication list, untick “TTLS” and “EAP-FAST” so that only the “PEAP” protocol is enabled. A dialog box will appear asking for the “Outer Identity”. Enter @hutton.ac.uk and click “OK”.

World of Warcraft's achievement system is something that a lot of players don't pay much attention to. In the Legion expansion, it helps you track the progress of overarching quests, but unless you're seriously bored and have nothing to do you probably won't spend a lot of time going back to older areas to complete their related achievements. He's a blood elf mage who, today, accomplished something that easily puts him in the top 0.1 percent of World of Warcraft's millions of players: —ranging from simple tasks to herculean feats like killing 250,000 players—available to date.Oh, and it only took him six years.' It was a very gradual process that started early on after achievements got introduced to the game in Wrath of the Lich King,' Xirev tells me. He goes on to say that, at first, his intention wasn't to get every achievement. Instead, he just wanted a faster mount.
Being a relatively casual player at the time, Xirev couldn't afford the high cost of training to ride mounts that would increase his movement speed to the maximum limit and also allow him to ride better mounts. But there was one loophole: Fast mounts earned through achievements would unlock the requisite level of riding skill automatically. Xirev says it was that need for speed that eventually got him turned on to achievement hunting. 'The guild I was in at the time soon fell apart and I was left with a lot of time until the next expansion and a strong will to collect things in the game, so I started collecting everything.' OverachieverToday, Xirev is 23-year-old Swedish student just about to start university in the fall. He tells me that, during Wrath of the Lich King and the expansions that followed, he was often playing World of Warcraft for five to six hours a day.
With Legion, he frequently puts in ten or more hours. Over the years Xirev has tallied up between '850-900 days' worth of playtime, with 434 days on his blood elf mage alone. He also has 30 characters that are level 110—two of each class with an additional six mages. What's absolutely mind blowing about this is Xirev admits nearly all of that is active playtime spent hunting and grinding out achievements.
'That is nowhere near the amounts other long time players have in this game but most of my game time is actual play time and not spent AFK in cities.' To put this in perspective, World of Warcraft has 3,314 achievements that tally up to a maximum (this site is more accurate than Blizzard's official tally). There's some oddness to account for, such as bugged achievements and the fact that, for some reason, Alliance characters can technically earn 10 more points than Horde players. It's also worth noting that, because World of Warcraft is always changing, some achievements become impossible to complete. To manage this, Blizzard retroactively deems them 'Feats of Strength' or 'Legacy' achievements.
Tallying up all of those, Xirev has a grand total of 3,759 completed achievements. Xirev's achievement progress.Being a completionist in World of Warcraft doesn't just require time, it requires serious skill.While a good chunk of these involve things players are doing anyway, like running world quests or completing new raids, others are a trial of patience and endurance. 'Ask anyone who casually collects achievements and PvP is the area they have the most trouble in or don’t even try at all,' Xirev says. That's because many of the PvP-related achievements require serious skill and extreme dedication to murder.
One asks that you kill 250,000 enemy players, while others require maintaining an intimidatingly high rank during an entire competitive PvP season. Some seem impossible to even do today, like killing 50 enemy players in your own capital city (the days of raiding enemy cities is long over). Being a completionist in World of Warcraft doesn't just require time, it requires serious skill.I ask Xirev what achievement really stood out as painful. 'It’s probably 'Going to Need a Bigger Bag,' he says.
'It requires you to collect every single rare item from a Mists of Pandaria zone called Timeless Isle, some of the rare items are obtained from rare spawns that can have very long respawn timers. I didn’t even touch that achievement for a long time because it only gives 10 points and nothing else for the amount of effort you need to put in to get it.' And then there's the worst of them all: pet battles.'
Sometimes Blizzard creates achievements that just seem cruel like having to win a bunch of PvP Pet Battles, they should at least give you a shirt ingame that says 'I had to win 5,000 PvP Pet Battles and all I got was 10 achievement points,' Xirev says. For those unfamiliar, World of Warcraft has a Pokemon-esque battle system where players can make their pets duel. For most players, it's a system better left forgotten—but Xirev had no such luxury.While painful, the end result is that Xirev now belongs to World of Warcraft's most exclusive club. Hello again!I'm back.First, I want to say that the addon works pretty much perfectly.But, I have a question. Sometimes, when people roll their rolls don't show up. And when I check the list, they don't appear in the list. Screenshot in link below.It happend with a Leather Helm, that a Rogue /rolled on and didn't appear, a shaman rolling on a back, and just now, as I was typing, a rogue rolling on leather wrists.Any idea how I can fix this? Is there a setting ignoring certain rolls? Or gear?Other than this little issue, the addon works amazing, it's super helpful in both raids and solo play.
I've been looking for an addon that helps me with rolls in raids for the past 3 years, and I haven't found one.So far, I genuinely like your addon, and hence, I want to ask you if something new can be implemented in.I need to be able to link an item into raid chat (Items that most likley have been traded to me by other raiders that wand to share said loot) and ask for a /roll on it. And I need the addon to be able to catch those rolls and give me a list of who won.Basically. The option to: Link item in /R or /RW: //'Item Name' Roll MS//, then the addon can watch for people doing /roll (ONCE, and ignore 2nd rolls, or whatever) and finally give a timer in /r: //Roll ends in X seconds'// and at the end of the timer tell me who won, and show me who rolled in a separate window (In case someone passes I don't have to look trough chat logs to see who rolled.
And if no one rolled for MS, to continue to do so for OS and TMOG untill the item is either given to someone else, or just returned to the original player that got it.Also, I need all this to be self-suficient. Let's fix that.Step 1: Patch PCSX2 to use 4GB of RAMUse the 4GB patch on your copy of PCSX2. Once it is done, you'll see that you are no longer crashing when trying to activate Rage mode. You still have the graphical corruption followed by the game slowing down to a crawl repeatedly before going back to fullspeed. Again, repeatedly.Step 2: Set PCSX2 to use Software RenderingRegardless of which video plugin you are using, switch to Software rendering instead of hardware rendering.
I'm using the GDSX plugin in DirectX 11 mode and upon switching from hardware rendering to software rendering, all graphical corruption disappears. You can press F9 to temporarily swap between hardware and software rendering, but you will want to select it properly in the GDSX plugin options window.Alright, so the game is looking a hell of a lot better, but it's clear that the sound is kind of running slowly and robotic and the game's framerate goes from smooth to less than a frame per second every minute or so and pausing before returning to fullspeed. The game isn't easily playable like this so let's figure out what is going on.

If we set the game to windowed mode (Alt-Enter) and pull up the process manager (Ctrl-Shift-ESC), we can take a look at PCSX2's RAM usage as we play. Something you'll notice is that PCSX2 is allocating huge chunks of RAM to itself repeatedly, bloating the RAM usage. As the RAM usage goes up, PCSX2's framerate drops. At about 1.5GB of RAM used or so, you'll see PCSX2 will completely freeze for a few seconds, PCSX2 will free a LOT of RAM and the game goes back to being smooth for a few seconds before more and more RAM is allocated again.
What's going on here?Scarface does some weird stuff with the PS2's vector units, forcing it to constantly recompile the VU programs being sent to them. As these programs are recompiled, they take more and more memory before PCSX2 says 'we've hit a limit, dump it all'. Most of the time, PCSX2 can handle caching these VU programs without a problem as it grows the cache when needed, but Scarface goes into overdrive.
So what we really want to do is to limit the amount of RAM PCSX2 will use for caching VU programs. The PCSX2 team has said they will not be allowing users to change how much RAM is used for VU programs so we're going to have to do it by hand.Step 3: Recompile PCSX2 with lower VU cache limits.or use a copy of PCSX2 already recompiled with the lower cache limits.
Okay, this is a bit outside the scope of this document, but fire up Visual Studio 2010 with a full copy of the PCSX2 source code. Make sure you are already able to compile PCSX2 before attempting the below. Good luck getting this to run in pcsx2.

Select Configuration. Go to the Boot tab and click the Advanced Options button. Tick the Number of Processors option and select 1 from the drop-down menu underneath.
ClickOK, then OK again and you have configured your PC to use only 1 core of your CPU.IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to revert back to the default settings after you are done playing Scarface.
